Rumus dan Penggunaan Future Continuous Tense yang Perlu Kamu Tahu

Future Continuous Tense adalah salah satu dari 16 tenses dalam bahasa Inggris. Tense ini digunakan untuk menyatakan aksi atau peristiwa yang akan sedang berlangsung pada masa depan.

Untuk membentuk Future Continuous Tense, kita harus menggunakan auxiliary verb "will be" diikuti dengan present participle form dari kata kerja.

Rumus Future Continuous Tense:
Subject + will be + present participle form of the verb + object

Contoh kalimat Future Continuous Tense:
1. I will be studying for my exams tomorrow.
2. She will be working on her project all night.
3. They will be playing football at the park this weekend.

Future Continuous Tense sering digunakan untuk menyatakan rencana atau kegiatan yang sudah direncanakan di masa depan. Tense ini juga digunakan untuk membuat asumsi atau prediksi tentang kejadian yang akan terjadi di masa depan.

3. Peristiwa Berlangsung di Masa Depan
a. By this time next year, I will be working in a new company.
b. In five years, they will be living in a different city.
c. By the end of the week, she will be finishing her assignment.

Future Continuous Tense juga dapat digunakan bersama dengan waktu tertentu di masa depan, seperti tomorrow, next week, in five years, by the end of the month, dan sebagainya.

Contoh:

- Next summer, they will be traveling around Europe.
- In three months, she will be graduating from college.
